I take a very methodical, rules-based approach to trading stocks. I follow the back-tested trading strategy as explained in the video about my stock trading strategy.
But there are times where discretion might come in handy. Like when there are multiple stocks that set up in a given day, I have to decide between them and it can be helpful to have some extra insights on how I might be able to use discretion to my benefit.
No discretion is required if you don't want to! But you can certainly use it whenever you want and this video gives some ideas of how you might do that.
