Hey Guys,
The market went down again Friday but has since recovered to some degree. The S&P 500 is just above 3,700 right now.
When the market dipped late last week, we were feeling heat. Today that heat is less intense (at least for now). Some of my positions are still in the red right now, but a number are closer to breakeven.
Sometimes in the moment when all your positions are red, it can seem hopeless. But many times things turn around, and that's why it's can be helpful to zoom out our focus to the bigger picture rather than getting wrapped up in the day-to-day swings of the account value. There is a very real risk involved though, which is what makes it so tough. Let's see if our patience pays off this time.
I haven't taken on any new positions yet today. I closed my positions on PDD and TAL in the main account since they reached their time limits this morning. Both ended up with a partial loss.
If you have any questions or feedback, I'd love to hear from you.
