The market is at about the same spot at it was when I emailed yesterday. The S&P 500 is around 7,640 right now.
First an update about an existing position: the ZS options. It turns out ZS is announcing earnings after the market closes on Thursday, right before the trade is scheduled to reach its time limit. I didn't intend to hold a trade that overlaps earnings, so I changed the "Close By" date to be tomorrow for that one. That means I'll manually close that one 30 minutes after the opening bell tomorrow unless it reaches its profit target first.
I've only taken on one new position so far today. I bought shares of ICE in the stocks account.
Midday yesterday, I picked up options for KO and BIIB in the options account. That account is up to eight active positions, which represents a significant amount of risk and potential reward. It will be fun to see how these trades turn out.
