Three of my options trades from the extra options account hit their profit targets in the last 24 hours: XLU, XLP, and TSCO. The one for XLU had a nicer payout than the others because I had purchased it closer to expiration. The closer the option is to expiration, the lower the cost, and therefore the higher the profit multiple when the profit target is reached.
I haven't made any new trades today. With options, there haven't been any that have set up yet. With stocks, TRV set up but I have a pretty full house of positions and I didn't have the buying power to take it on. I would have been happy to take the trade if I could have. TRV came from the watch list.
I closed my PFE stock position this morning since it hit the time limit. I somehow initially had it in my head that no positions were hitting their time limits this morning, so I was late to close it and I lost some money as a result. It's very *ahem* rare *ahem* that I make a mistake. (I wish!) The last time I made one, I ended up profiting from it. This time I wasn't as lucky.
Anyone who followed me on Dominion Energy (D) and owned it overnight last night is on the books for receiving a dividend payout. It's a pretty chunky one too -- about 33% of my potential profit from hitting the profit target. And on top of it, my D stock position has a decent unrealized profit. As a reminder, there is no action needed to receive the dividend. Simply having owned the stock overnight was enough. The dividend will likely be credited to your account within the next several weeks automatically if you qualified.
