Hey Guys,
The market is at about the same spot as it was when I emailed yesterday. It's wiggled around some during that time, but ultimately the S&P 500 is still around 7,770 right now.
My TAK stock trade reached its time limit, so I manually closed that one at the opening bell. That one landed a small profit, which is nice to see considering it went deep into the tank early in the trade. It worked its way back up above water by the end of the trade.
I also got the final details of the QRVO trade (the one that had a merger get completed while I was in the trade). I thought they might issue me active shares of the new stock, but they actually just posted a journal entry to my account crediting me for the value of the shares of the new stock. They also credited me $32.50 in cash for each share. So no further action is needed on my part to complete that trade, and it's now over. That was an odd trading experience that is not typical. When all the dust settled, that one came in with a small loss.
I took on some new trades today. In the stocks account, I bought shares of LUV and A. In the options account, I bought the options for LUV.
