Hey Guys,
The market has shifted into a calmer state for the time being. It's near its highs, and the amount of price fluctuation each day has decreased noticeably since the turbulent period that we just came out of.
And with those conditions in place, there are a lot of stocks in uptrends right now. My scan is picking up tons of stocks right now that meet the uptrend criteria from my trading strategy. If there are any sectors that start to pull back, or if the market as a whole pulls back some, it might trigger a bunch of trading opportunities.
But as for today, there have been no new trades yet. Even though there are a bunch of potential stock trades coming up the pipeline, today has been quiet on the trading front.
My EXPE stock position (the first one I bought) hit its stoploss today. I still have the double down stock position open. My open positions overall are a bit of a mixed bag, although they reflect a net profit overall at this point (unrealized). The energy sector had a gap up overnight, and that helped me since I have a few energy holdings.
I have a couple of stocks reaching their time limits tomorrow (SYY and MRK). So I'll be closing those first thing in the morning. The second video on this page shows how I close stock positions that reach their time limits.
If you have any questions or feedback, I'd love to hear from you.
