Hey Guys,
First thing: I put in the wrong profit target for my HD trade in the stocks account yesterday. I fixed it this morning. It should be 405.60. Thanks for your patience!
The market is still wiggling around. After opening the day down yesterday, it recovered some ground, only to gap back down again this morning.
I hit the profit target on my SE options yesterday. That's the second profit target I've hit on this expiration series of options (I hit the profit target on WYNN options on Friday).
In my stocks account, things haven't fared nearly as well. I already hit the stop loss on NTAP. It was another whammy sort of trade where the price suddenly dropped like a rock. Those are typically rare, but they came in a bunch this week, and part of the reason is that there are a lot of companies reporting earnings this week. That can cause price volatility not only for the companies reporting earnings, but also for other companies in their industries. The price volatility can go both ways, but this week, it has not gone in our favor so far. But that doesn't mean that there isn't a long term edge to what we're doing here.
In that stocks account, I also had two positions that reached their time limits. BILI came in with a profit and AMD came in with a loss.
I took on some new trades today. In the stocks account, I bought positions for Salesforce and Marriott. In the options account, I bought the options for Marriott.
If you have any questions or feedback, I'd love to hear from you.
