There is volatility in the air with the market. It had a pretty big red day yesterday. Then this morning, the S&P 500 dropped 20 points right after the opening bell, only to gain it right back moments later. It's as if the S&P 500 is desperately trying to hang on to the 5,700 price level.
I bought a new position for ALGN in my stocks account. I'm back to having a full house of positions in that account, so I would only be able to take on a really light position at this point, meaning one with a low "Position Value" (which is one of the columns on my trade lists). The only one from the watch list that's light enough and in the vicinity of triggering is ROKU, and I have a buy limit order in for it.
In my options account, I took on a new position for Chipotle. That one is for the October 11 expiration, whereas all the others in the account are for the October 4 expiration. The expiration date of options on the watch list advances by a week every Wednesday.
