The market is definitely still volatile. Yesterday it was up when I emailed, and then the S&P 500 proceeded to drop more than 100 points. It has since rebounded to some degree, but the market is in a mode where it could make abrupt moves in either direction at any time. Different sectors are moving in different directions. Despite those conditions, I stay calm and measured in my approach, and I stick to the plan as always.
My WMB option position and WDC stock position both hit their profit targets. My TSLA stock position reached its time limit this morning and landed a profit. The only blemish on my record today was my CINF stock position, which hit its stop loss.
I have a number of option positions that reached their time limit today. I'll be manually closing those near the end of the trading session today unless they reach their profit targets before then.
I took on a few new trades today. In the stocks account, I bought positions for AIG and L. In the options account, I bought the options for AIG.
