The market is at about the same spot as it closed yesterday, so it's been a pretty mellow start overall for the market this week. The S&P 500 is around 7,810 right now.
That said, the Tech sector has been down to start the week. That led to my INTC stock trade reaching its stop loss this morning.
It also led to me taking on a slate of new positions this morning. In the stocks account, I bought positions for KLAC and XLK. In the options account, I bought options for XLK and QQQ.
Those are all positions in tech, and I already had some existing positions in tech, so I have a fair amount of exposure in that area. That sector has of course been strong overall this year. Let's see if this proves to be a nice opportunity to jump in on a dip and potentially ride it back up.
