The market has changed modes for the time being. This week it's been very quiet after having a loud week of upward momentum last week. It's as if the market sprinted last week and now is pausing to catch its breath. The S&P 500 is around 4,355 right now.
I picked up some new positions this morning. In the main account I bought shares of GLD. In the options account, I bought options for GLD.
I also ended up buying some positions yesterday in the middle of the trading session. I bought both stock and option positions for Cigna.
It's nice to be filling up the account with some trading activity again. After clearing the slate with last week's profitable run, it's time to build the portfolio back up and see if we can do it again.
