Hey Guys,
The market is down a bit this morning. The S&P 500 is re-testing that 4,000 level. As of now, it's holding up. I'm not surprised that there has been a long battle at this level. We've been hovering around this area for more than two weeks.
I got a full load of new positions today. In the main account, I scooped up INTC and LRCX. In the extra options account, I bought options for SWKS and INTC. For the low-priced account, I bought shares of IR and AOSL.
I manually closed three stock positions today that reached their time limits. The second video on this page shows how I go about doing that for stocks. I set up a market sell order before the market opens, and that automatically takes out the position at the opening bell.
Today all three of those positions incurred a partial loss. Not a profitable start to the week, but for me personally it doesn't sting much after coming off a week when I was 19-4 with my trades. Rather than dwell on these losses, I'm keeping a bigger picture perspective. I still have a lot of other positions in the portfolio.
If you have any questions or feedback, I'd love to hear from you.
