That price level of 6,000 did indeed prove to offer some form of resistance for the S&P 500. The price kind of bounced off that level and is now about 20 points below it. You can see here how the price responded to that price level over the last several trading days:
But the battle of 6,000 might be far from over. We'll find out more in the coming days.
My stock trade for HDB hit its stop loss. I liked the look of that trade setup when I took it, but it just dropped like a rock right after I bought it and hit its stop loss just a day later. It's not what we hope for when we make a trade, but trades like these definitely happen. I simply turn the page mentally and move on.
There have been no new trades yet today. I've got buy limit orders in for the tickers at the top of the watch list (both stocks and options). VFC is the closest to getting filled right now.
