The market came down noticeably yesterday and seemed to wake up from its nap, but then it bounced back up some this morning. It appears to be settling into a range here. The S&P 500 is around 4,365 right now.
I took on a couple new positions today. I bought DG stock in the main account and I bought DG options in the options account. Also, I picked up NEE stock in the main account yesterday.
My options that reached their time limits yesterday did not turn out well, mainly due to CI going south. I took nearly a full loss on the CI position in my options account, and I also took a loss on the CI option position in my main account. That CI loss was a tough one, but losses are inevitable -- in fact a normal occurrence according to back tests. So I'm going to turn the page and move on to the next trade.
