Hey Guys,
The market has taken a breather over the last 24 hours and has been holding steady in a relatively small range. Maybe it's the calm before the storm. Later today at 11am Pacific Time, the Fed is scheduled to hold a press conference. Things could get volatile at that time.
I haven't picked up any new positions yet today. I run a scan each day to look for stocks and options that meet the criteria of my trading strategy, and right now there are very few tickers showing up in the scan. That might prove to be a good thing today depending on how the market reacts to the Fed announcement. If the market goes south, it will prove to be fortunate that there aren't too many open positions on our books. That said, we've seen many times before that you never can tell for sure which way the market is going to go next, so I'm going to accept the outcome no matter which way it turns out.
I didn't close any positions today. I have some options trades that will be reaching their time limits tomorrow. But otherwise, it's a quiet morning for me on the trading front.
If you have any questions or feedback, I'd love to hear from you.
