Hey Guys,
The market is up a bit this morning to start the week. We haven't seen any major volatility flashes in a while. They might be lurking in the background, but for now the market is showing signs of being relatively steady.
I picked up a couple new positions in the low-priced account this morning. I bought shares of stock for SG and CHX. On Friday a trade for SGEN triggered in the main account in the middle of the trading session. It came right off the watch list.
There are no new options trades to report. It's been particularly light for options in the last few weeks. Some weeks there are 15+ options trades, and some weeks there are just a couple. It's part of the ebb and flow of this trading approach. Sticking to the back-tested approach requires patience at times.
I closed my HCA stock position in the main account this morning since it reached its time limit. That one locked in a small gain. That puts me at a 12-1 win/loss record over the last three weeks for closed trades in the main account. Sometimes my best winning streaks start during times of market volatility, just like this one did. It's one of the reasons I stick to the back-tested plan through thick and thin.
If you have any questions or feedback, I'd love to hear from you.
