The market is down to start the morning. The S&P 500 is around 6,725 right now, which is down 50 points from its close from yesterday. We're clearly still in a state of volatility with the market.
I took on a couple of new positions today. Both were in the stocks account. I bought shares of AEP and EXC, which are both companies in the Utilities sector.
I have three option positions that reached their time limits today. I'll be manually closing those near the end of the trading session unless they reach their profit targets first. I typically log in to my trading platform about half an hour before the close and immediately manually close the positions at the prevailing price without using any discretion.
