The market took a tumble overnight. The S&P 500 is down about 70 points from where it closed yesterday and is around 7,425 right now. This is actually its lowest price so far in the month of July.
I took on some new trades today. In my stocks account, I bought positions for TROW and BILI. And in my options account, I bought options for ETSY. I also picked up options yesterday late in the day for WDAY and ZS.
None of my existing positions got closed today. And the positions are starting to really pile up. In my options account, in particular, I now have nine open positions, which represents a significant amount of risk and potential reward. Five of those positions reach their time limit tomorrow, though, so I'll be manually closing those 30 minutes after the opening bell tomorrow unless they reach their profit targets first.
