The market is, for the moment, up from where it ended yesterday. That said, we're in the midst of volatility, so it wouldn't surprise me to see some back-and-forth price movement until the volatility has cleared out. It's not clear how long the volatility will last or where it will take us.
With the market being up, a lot of my positions are up today. I have some options positions that are close to their profit targets and a few of my stock positions are showing signs of life.
I have not yet bought any new positions today. If you follow the watch list, then you might know DPZ set up for a trade today. It was a somewhat heavy stock though (as far as how much purchasing power it required), and I didn't have the room in my portfolio to take the trade. I have a nearly full house of positions already. I also looked at the options for that ticker, but DPZ has earnings coming up and a lot of times that makes the options too expensive to meet my entry criteria.
