Hi Guys,
We finally got some trades! After a quiet week, we were able to take on some new positions this morning.
In the main account, I picked up stock positions for VRTX and PFE. Both of these came right off the watch list. My entry price was the Potential Entry Price shown on that page, which makes sense considering I use that price to set up buy limit orders for tickers on the watch list each morning.
In my extra options account, I grabbed options for PFE. They were really well-priced, which means if they get in the vicinity of the profit target, they might have a nice profit multiple. I looked at the options for VRTX, but they were too expensive so I passed on them.
In the low-priced account, I picked up shares of ES and WEC. Both are companies in the Utilities sector.
In the main account, I also took on a futures position and posted its corresponding SPXL equivalent stock trade. For those interested, it was for the MT 95 strategy. That one is designed to be a high win percentage trade. The profit target is purposely much closer to the entry price than the stoploss. I use several different trading strategies for futures, which is different from stocks where everything is based off one core trading strategy.
The SPXL trades are the "stock equivalents" for my futures trades. I post those because there are plenty of subscribers who do not want to trade futures. This allows people to try to benefit from the back-tested edge of my futures trades without trading actual futures, since SPXL can be traded in almost any account that can trade stocks. The SPXL trades I post are not in the "Open Stock Positions" section because I didn't trade them in my actual account. I post those trades in their own dedicated section below there.
If you have any questions or feedback, I'd love to hear from you.
