The market was quiet to start the week but then got volatile over the last two days. On New Year's Eve, the S&P 500 dropped almost 60 points, but it's gained most of that back this morning.
I had two different stock positions reach their time limits today: KKR and TXN. Both landed in the red. That gave me my first red week in that account since early December, although it wasn't a big loss overall.
I took on more new trades today. In the stocks account, I bought positions for RCL and CG. In the options account, I bought options for GM and XLF. My stocks account is almost completely maxed out in terms of using the available buying power
