The market has been quiet to start the morning, which might signal a quiet New Year's Eve in the markets. Today is only a half day for the market. It will close at 10am Pacific Time.
I had two stock trades reach their time limits: QCOM and RNG. Both came in under breakeven. The good news is that both were small losses. Both together combined for just a -0.1% return.
I took on some new trades today. In the stocks account, I bought positions for DRI and EL. In the options account, I bought the options for MRNA and UPS.
I have five option positions that reached their time limits today. I'll be manually closing those near the end of the abbreviated trading session today unless they reach their profit targets first.
The market will be closed tomorrow, and then be back open on Friday. I hope you guys have a great New Year's holiday.
