Hey Guys,
The market is at about the same spot as it was when I emailed yesterday. The S&P 500 flashed downward midday yesterday, but then it rebounded. There is more volatility in the air now than we saw at the start of this week.
This morning, my trade for CDNS reached its time limit so I manually closed it at the opening bell using a market sell order. That one came in with a small loss. My AEM order hit its profit target this morning, but interestingly, it was actually supposed to hit the profit target yesterday. I had a typo when I set the profit target sell order in my trading platform, and I put 135.64 as the sell limit price instead of 134.64 (the profit target indicated on the website). I didn't even realize it until the trade had closed. That's one of those human errors that worked out in my favor. I've had many that have turned out quite the opposite...
There haven't been any new trades yet today. I have buy limit orders set up for the tickers at the top of the watch list, as always.
My XLU option position reached its time limit today, so I'll be manually close that one near the end of the trading session today unless it reaches its profit target first.
If you have any questions or feedback, I'd love to hear from you.
