Mindful Trader Commentary For August 17, 2022

Hey Guys,

The market reached impressive highs yesterday midday, but has since pulled back. The S&P 500 is now at 4275. What's interesting is that just last week, 4275 seemed so high and now it represents a down day.

I bought a full slate of positions today. In the main account, I bought JKHY and COUP. In the extra options account, I bought options for SLV and COUP. In the low-priced account, I bought SLV and MGA.

That JKHY stock position is like a bucking bronco right now. They just reported earnings, and it's moving fast. It went against me and almost hit the stoploss right out of the gate, but has since come back up. It might still be a wild ride from here.

I closed three positions since my last email, all for a profit. The COST stock position reached its profit target yesterday. And this morning LVS and IPGP both reached their time limits, so I closed both of those manually and locked in small partial profits.

If you have any questions or feedback, I'd love to hear from you.
