Hey Guys,
The market is down a bit from its highs this morning, but still in the general "highs" vicinity.
I closed out a few positions today. My PEP and DRE positions hit their time limits, so I closed those positions manually first thing this morning. Both were just about breakeven but were technically losses. The second video on this page shows how I go about closing stock positions that reach their time limits.
I also closed out my ABC options position this morning since it reached the time limit I had set. I set my "close by" date a day early in order to avoid holding it through the ex-dividend date. That one took a loss. That was part of my healthcare group of positions that have all been unhappy (although my BSX options are making an incredible comeback attempt!).
Speaking of healthcare, a lot of the tickers on the watch list are healthcare stocks. I thought I might be buying more healthcare stocks this morning, but so far none have triggered.
FNV's earnings had a very muted impact on the stock price. Looking at the price activity on the chart, it's hard to tell that earnings were even announced. This was quite different than the typical earnings day experience.
If you have any questions or feedback, I'd love to hear from you.
