I picked up some NEM today. I only have the buying power to pick up one stock today. I'm still on the hunt for any options plays. Keep in mind that there are other stock trades setting up today, so if you have the buying power, you can check out my Watch List to find others that have hit my preferred entry price. The live trades I make usually come straight off the watch list, so those are all trades I would gladly get into if I had the buying power.
I had a short position on the MES futures, and it closed for a loss overnight. This market is relentless right now! Another short position fired for MES yesterday, as you can see from my live trades. Let's see if the market knocks that one out too or if the market finally takes a breath.
I also closed my position for SQ this morning since it hit the expiration. Made a decent profit on that one.
It's earnings season right now, so some of the stocks are having big volatile swings. NEM shot down right after I bought it today. Yesterday SBUX shot down, and today it shot up. At times like this, I'm really glad that I have a firm game plan to hold on to, because it can be a pretty wild ride at times.
