Fun morning so far. Two positions hit their expiration (HUM and PAYX) and came out profitable. Then AMGN hit its profit target. And then my option for AEE hit its profit target. Four victories in the morning gives me an excited "buzz" to start the day.
And that AEE options victory was great. I bought the option for $0.95 per contract and sold it for $3.30. That's a 247% profit (which means that for 1% of account risk, my account goes up 2.47%). That's a fun payout and one of the reasons that I am attracted to options as a component of my portfolio.
No new trades have set up today. I've got plenty of buying power now. Just waiting for trades to meet my trading strategy criteria. I'm keeping a close eye on the watch list as always.
