The market indeed had a volatile reaction to the interest rate announcement yesterday. It whipped downward yesterday, then back upward overnight. The end result is that the S&P 500 is back where it was to start the week: around 7,610.

The market is up a touch today after finishing down some yesterday, and the end result is that it's back where it was when I emailed yesterday. The S&P 500 has flopped around a little bit this week, but it keeps going back to this 7,600 price level. We'll see how things unfold when the FOMC rate announcement is made later today.
